Thank you so much for the information. This could be the Geroge W.Collins that adopted my William H. Collins b. 1824 Tn, he had a Henry cCollins listed as $200 security for the adoption, I thought it might have been his brother, but it was probably his dad. I don't guess there was a listing of all of Henry's children was there. I might could verify my William's dad if I could find a list of all of Henry's children. I know if one of his son's died around 1840, that would be my William's dad.
