According to Shelbyville newspaper, Bedford County, TN, 1811, birth announcement claims that Jackson NICHOLS was born that day [May 4?] into the home of John NICHOLS, late of Hertford and Bladen Counties, NC. Posted by: Carol Piper Date: October 15, 1999, at GenForum Nichols Forum.

I have also seen the birth place of a Jackson NICHOLS born May 4, 1811 in Franklin, Williamson Co, TN. And another Jackson NICHOLS born in the year 1805 in TN. Not sure if they are one and the same since there are numerous Jackson NICHOLS.

Is anyone researching this John and Jackson NICHOLS father and son or any Jackson NICHOLS born in TN?
