ISO info on the family of Wiley CHOCKLEY, bn 15 OCT 1816 in VA, died 16 NOV 1880, Bedford Co, TN. He md Mary M BROOKS, bn ca 1825 TN, died 07 SEP 1893, Bedford Co, TN, d/o Phillip and Sarah (TOOLE) BROOKS.
Wiley and Mary had at least two children:
1. Phillip CHOCKLEY bn ca 1845; d aft 1880 Census; md 1868 Mahala WILSON; father of 6 or more
2. George Isaac CHOCKLEY bn ca 1848 -- last found 1850 Census
My interest is in descendants of Phillip and Sarah BROOKS, as they are distant relatives of mine. I'm conducting no research on Wiley's background.
