Marriage Sentence

Is it possible to have an alternate sentence in the marriage tag if date and place are not known?
I know it can be done with a role, but I have more than 6000 instances in this database, and was hoping for something automatic :-)

I tried:
[P] and [PO] had a relationship || [P] married [PO] <[D]> <[L]>
and the reverse:
[P] married [PO] <[D]> <[L]> || [P] and [PO] had a relationship
But that only gives me the first sentence.

[P] and [PO] <[PARO]> <married [D] || had a relationship><[M]> <[L]>
or the reverse, but they only give me the first sentence.

I really hope there is a way to do this, but fear that roles is the only way to go :-(

Afina
