When I switched from 98 to Windows XP, the program I was using at the time
wouldn't run on XP. It was the old Ultimate Family Tree, which I'm told is the
closest thing to TMG.

I sent my backup disk to a cousin in Dallas who still had UFT, he installed it
on his computer, then made a gedcom for me, and I was able to import my db.
Takes very little extra time, and beats wishing you had.
