Versions and Operating System Change

It has been at least 6 years since I've done any work on my genealogy databases, and I have a mess to clean up. I'm hoping someone can advise the best approach for doing this.

1. I currently have both version 4.0 and version 5.11 on my computer. The computer is 10 years old and runs on Windows 98.

2. Some of my databases are in version 4 and some are in version 5.

3. I am getting a new computer that will have Vista on it. I want to move all of my databases to my new computer and insure both my databases and program are updated to the most current version of TMG.

What is the best plan of attack for getting this accomplished?

Thanks -
