Hey Jerry,
I'm not sure if this John is my line or not since I don't know for sure who his parents are.I've researched many Titsworth lines trying to find anyone who might know the parents of my Jesse Titsworth(b. Nov. 1795 Tenn.-died 1868 Pike Co. Illinois).I think Jesse's dad might be the second Thomas Andrew Titsworth who was in Sullivan Co. Tenn (1763-1853) but there is so little information on this Thomas. No info on a possible wife at all and only two known children Thomas Jr. (1800-1849) and Rebecca (Titsworth) Bachman(resource Land deeds for Sullivan Co. Tn shows Thomas Titsworth leaving land to son-in-law Thomas Bachman (Rebecca's husband)
As to John above, I know he married Sarah Thompson in Livingston Co. Ky in 1807.He died in Lawrence Co. Arkansas in 1846.Isaacs two sons named John-one died in early 1830's in Missouri and the other was still on Franklin Co. Arkansas census in 1850.So I wonder if this first one could be Isaac's brother.
Many news reports from the 1794 massacre say John died, but some of them said Isaac died too and he didn't.The reports were often conflicting in their information, so it is possible John didn't die and instead remarried in Livingston Co. But who knows??
Good luck with your research
Sarah Tittsworth
