Surname Titel or Tittle/Domesday Book date 1086

I have information that the Tittle name is derived from Titley Wood in Herefordshire England. Many people from this locale were called Tittles. The Domesday book in 1086 refers to the name Titel on the property of FitzRichard (which in fact there was a FitzOsbern.)

Has anyone found any further information on this Titel...perhaps his trade and more specific location on the FitzOsbern property. FitzOsbern's holdings were quite large at the time.
