I was interested to see your message. Not sure how much I can help. My research shows that my immediate forebears come from Tring, Herfordshire. My great-grandfather, George, died in around 1934. I think one of his sons was Valentine. I suspect his dates won't match with the Valentine you have mentioned - when was yours born and when did he die? Who knows, there might be a connection.
