Hello Lisa
The Tisdall manor\castle was visited by my Grandmother Mary Tisdall several years ago. Sadly I must report It belongs to a chicken farmer who has turned half of it into a chicken coop. Anyway I have a very detailed historical overview of our ancestory. Did you know that our family originated in Norman England about a 1000 years ago? King James sent Micheal Tisdall to Ireland 1439 as the atourney general. We flurished there as a ruling family for 300 years.also my ggg grandfather came to canada around 1832 his name was Joseph Maggs Tisdall. About the family crest its an arm rising from a crown clutching an arrow. The family motto is with this arrow I shall defend the crown.
Are you in the buffalo area ?? FRED
