Death record during a flu epedimic?

I am trying to help a cousin find death information on Verna Gilliam Hubbard.

She was born September 1893 in Arkansas to James H. Gilliam and Sarah Jane Emison.

She married John A. Hubbard 12 July 1914. They had three children Coy J. Hubbard (1917), Bob Hubbard, and Gladys Hubbard.

John A. Hubbard remarries in 1920 to a Ruby White.

John and Verna were living in North Little Rock, Pulaski Co., Arkansas when she died.

Family stories has been told that she died with the flu during the epedimic...we are assuming between 1918-1920. She is also believed to buried in Beebe, Arkansas.

We can't locate a death certificate or cemetery...any other ideas on how to do a search?

Thanks in Advance,

Lily Emison Furlow
