Hello! I have been reading the posts on 'Remember when Genealogy' and have found them fascinating. I am just getting into genealogy and know nothing!!!! Just starting out this year I hooked up with the inter-net, but have come across a lot of the 'bad' information you have talked about. I will have to confess to adding data to my 'tree' without it being completely documented (but am seeing the absolute absurdity of that), but usually try to only add information if it 'makes logical sense'. I guess the reason why I am posting this is to ask you, a seasoned pro, what would your best advice be to a newcomer such as myself? I have a large family, which limits my available time to research, so I need ways to find accurate information that don't have me flying to another country? Thank you!
