Does anyone know if a listing of mariners lost at sea everyexisted for Scotland? Had a ggg-grandfather lost at sea on trip to Australia around 1855-1860. Would like to know if there would be any listing of such individuals or what the process for the family at home would be. He left behind a wife, a daughter and two sons.
