It was brought ot my attention that there was inquiry regarding my mother, Ruth Tippit Olive, who published a detailed book on the William B. Tippit Family History. My mother did have a light stroke. She has all of her motor skills but does find it difficult to write or use a typewriter anymore. She is currently living in a active seniors retirement center. She is still very active and lives independently.

She still is very interested in family history and I am certain would be glad to share information with anyone. She book was very comprehensive and was the result of 15 years of travel and research. A copy of the book is in the houston Public LIbrary Genealogical Section. There is also one in the library in Liberty, Texas. All the members of my mother's immediate family have a copy of the book. She printed a limited number of copies and did not reprint the book.

I hope this answers the questions regarding my mother. Ken Olive
