Thank you, thank you, thank you! This is the first information I have ever had regarding Mary. I had her middle initial wrong, according to the 1880 census. It should be A. In that census she was listed as 33 years old. Do you have any idea where they (Joseph & Mary) were married? Where there was the list of siblings, I take it they are Mary's siblings and George W. Tinsman's children?

I found the Paxton's in Grundy County, Illinois in the 1850 Census. Joseph was 3 years old. His brother (?) is in the 1870 census there, but Joseph is not.
