I am looking for any information on my families lineage. Linwood Loving Tinsley is my great grand father and was from the Tazewell, VA area. He was married to a Nettie Altizer. My father told me that he was a sheriff and also owned a bar in Tazewell. I recently visited and the bar and farmhouse both still stand although the house (& all the land to go with it) was sold out of the family :( I'm trying to track mainly the Tinsley lineage from him back to where we settled in the United States. I'm very new at this and am not familiar with how to go about finding any of this information. Anything that anyone can provide will be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much!
