If you will email me directly to my address as shown above, then I will send you a gedcom or WORD version of what I have on the early Tinney family of SC and GA. I believe our Mary Catherine b 1814 SC is a Tinney of that line as she married Mahaffey Henderson in Gwinett Co, GA where the Tinney family were neighbors. I am still looking for proofs. Legend had that her father was a Dick Tinney (common name) However, other neighbors who came to Winston Co, AL were named BONDS.

I don't have any records of the Alabama Tinneys. I would appreciate knowing more about any of them who came to AL about 1835-1870.
