Hello there So nice of you to write. I believe what I have in Meriwether co. Ga. is a different Alonzo. This fellow is a colored person. His father was John Tinney, slave to John Tinney born 1804. We visited him and had a wonderful talk. I feel my Alonzo might be dead by now? I would love to contact his children. I have the death certificate of his father John.

I descend from Isaac Tinney who is listed in 1850 densus there. His wife's name was Elizabeth. I believe I have found her grave.

Happy hunting,
Mary Elizabeth Tinney, Hill
