Thanks for this info Glennis. I have Helkiah Tinkham as bron 8 Feb 1655 and died after 1724 yet before 25 Sep 1731. We only this one marriage to Ruth Cooke about 1684. Their first child Helkiah Jr. b 1685; Mary b 1687; John b 1689; Jacob b 1691; Caleb b 1693; Sarah b 1696; Ebenezer b 1698; Ruth b 1701; and Peter b 1706. The baptismal dates were later and I do not see how this would make Ruth Cooke not the mother. Can you elaborate more or email me directly? thanks
