Boy, there's a lot of info. :)
James Robert married Janet Lee Hunter Tinkle on September 10, 1954, as I recall eloping to the Santa Barbara Co. courthouse. They have a copy of their marriage certificate. They are my parents. My mother was born in Marysville, KS to Kenneth Leroy Hunter and Frances Louella Adams Hunter. She had an older sister and has a much younger brother.
She was born on October 7, 1932, exactly one month after my father!
My father's brother, Stanley Richard, married Barbara Joan Turrell and they had two children:
Leah Ruth, b. May 18, 1960 (now married with adopted children)
and Mark David, b. March 20, 1962 (married)
My father's deceased brother, Harold Ernest, was married once briefly, divorced, and married again to Phyllis Janik. I don't know if Phyllis has a middle name. The first wife, who we consider a Youthful Indescretion, was Barbara June (we don't know her last name). I can get marriage dates. The marriage to Phyllis Janik produced a daughter, Hilary Aurora, b. May 26, 1970. Hilary is a married doctor, and lives in Vancouver, WA. She has no children. We don't think Hilary knows about her father's first marriage, so please don't contact her.
My father's youngest brother, David Paul, was married first to Karen Andrew Tinkle, I can get a birthdate and place, which produced one child. She is Stacey Robin, b. July 4, 1972, and has been married twice, divorced once. She has no children.
David Paul is still alive, and I can get marriage dates of his ex-wives.
All four of the boys (my father and his brothers) were born in Bakersfield, CA.
As for my siblings, you have our birhdates.
My eldest brother, "Toby", is married to Maury (forgot middle name) Davis Tinkle, (who has been previously married with 2 children) and they have a son, Stephen James, b. (I'll have to look it up) born and living in Bakersfield, CA. Toby and Maury married on May 10, 1997 at Seal Beach, CA.
My other brother, Kam, is married to Sharon (forgot middle name) Irish Tinkle, (both first marriage) and they have two children, Robert Eric, b. July 25, 1989 and Kaleigh Nicole, b. December 23, 1992. They were both born in Bakersfield, CA, and currently reside in Lake Oswego, OR. They married on December 17, 1988 in Bakersfield, CA.
My sister, Kim, is married to Arin Don Resnicke, with no children. They married on March 22, 1986 in Bakersfield, CA. They live there.
I am married to Edward Lee McLaughlin, with no children. We married on June 1, 1996 in Bakersfield, CA. We live in Fremont, CA.
Occupations:
My father is a retired teacher, active in the local YMCA Y's Men's club. He taught in the Bakersfield City School district for over 36 years.
My mother is a retired homemaker.
My uncle Stan is a retired teacher, active in barbershopping and gardening. He taught in the Orange county school district for many years and they live in Anaheim. My aunt is a retired homemaker.
My uncle Harold died in January 1994 (I think) after a battle with cancer. He started as a professor of English at the University of Chicago, and after divorcing his second wife, moved from Chicago, IL to Bakersfield, where he worked for Southern Pacific Railroad.
My uncle David is a retired teacher living in Madera, CA. He has taught many places. His current wife is Elisa Tinkle.
My brother Toby and his wife Maury have held many jobs over the years.
My brother Kam is an Electrician. His wife Sharon is a Transcriptionist.
My sister Kim is a CPA. Her husband Arin is an architect.
My husband and I are computer specialists.
My cousin Leah is a teacher and missionary. Her husband, Les Brockman, is a minister. They live in Salem, OR.
My cousin Mark is a Physicist, and his wife Lily is a doctor. They live in Southern California.
My cousin Hilary is a doctor.
My cousin Stacy works as a Pharmacist's Assistant in the Fresno, CA area. Her husband Alan is in construction. I've forgotten their last name.
