I am a descendant of James Warren Tinkle, who was born in Bolivar, MO on 10/28/05. I recently saw someone's thread on George W. Tinkel of Wright county. I checked and found Bolivar is in Polk county, one county up and two counties west of Wright. Does anyone know more about this branch of the family? My grandfather (James) was the youngest of four children. His father was Irvin Tinkle (middle name unknown) who was married to Rose Katherine Cooper (another Cooper!). We know we descended from an Ambrose Tinckle (sp?). I have more names if anyone can establish a connection. We may be descendants of George and his wife, and kin to Andrew J. Tinkle. We have Jameses and Warrens in our family tree, if George's middle name was Warren. We also have Roberts. ;)
My grandfather James was born on the way out West, with the family finally ending up in California.
