Thanks for your information. I know that there were probably two Tinkle clans in AR in the mid to late 1800s. Just can't connect my Robert Lee to either one of them.Living in Houston I have access to the Clayton Library and have discovered a county census from 1850 Desoto County. George W. (son of George W. and Sarah Proctor) was married 2 times. First to ???? and then to Elizabeth. Here is what that census says:
