James, this has to be the Robert I have been looking for. From family information (nothing confirmed) it states Robert Francis & Myra Brock had Robert Jr. and Annie. This could have been the sister who came to visit him.
On my gfathers birth certificate, it says his mothers name was Mary Martin, on marriage certificate it say Hill. In family papers says Owens, this is confusing to say the least. Robert Francis could have been married several times. I do not have a death date for Robert Francis but he is buried in AR.
I have not come across the name Montgomery. Asberry came to OK around 1895.
