Phyllis, My ggrandfather was born December 1881 in Arkansas. He never spoke of his parents and was raised by a family named Montgomery. His marriage license records his name as R. L. (Robert Lee) when he married Clara Rebecca Wood in 1904 near Waco, TX. He had a sister (maybe half sister) who came to visit him shortly before his death in 1931 in the panhandle of Texas, Plainview. Noone knows of any other blood relation. Robert and Clara had three sons, all who lived and died in Texas.
