This is very interesting about John Campbell,Louise Campbell, Robert Smith Tingley, and children.
My father is John H. Tingley, born to Oliver Cromwell Tingly. Oliver Cromwell Tingley was the son of Louise Campbell and Robert Smith Tingley. Louise Campbell was the daughter of John Campbell (Major) and Susan Tatsie.
Susan Tatsie was the daughter of a Piegan Chief around 1860 when John Campbell and she married. I believe that would make her a Piegan Indian Princess.
My father John H. Tingley was born in 1912 on the Yakima Indian reservation in Harrah, where his Dad Oliver was working and racing horses. I think that makes me about an 1/8 Piegan Blackfoot, but I am not sure if I calculated that correctly.
Do you have more information then I have?
