Descendant of Sergt. Samuel Yeomans, as follows:
1. Joseph Treanor (1843-1901) m. 1885 Zelpha Philena Tingley (b. 1848).
2. Freeman Tingley (1811-97) m. 1834 Juliana Tingley (1816-1900).
3. Darius Tingley (1779-1859) m. 1805 Sabra Yeomans (1788-1858) (parents of Freeman).
4. Samuel Yeomans m. Sabra Bromley.
Samuel Yeomans (1747-1833) served as orderly sergeant, Connecticut militia, at frequent intervals from 1775-81. In 1833 he applied for a pension, which was allowed. He settled in Brooklyn, Pa., about 1804, where he died.
