Sarah Tindell, Arkansas - Family Mystery

My great-great-grandmother Sarah Tindell (Tindal?) was born 1868 in Sharp Co., Arkansas. She married George David Powell, Jr., of Lawrence Co., AR. The family story is that Sarah was illegitimate and was raised by another family. We don't know the name of the people who raised her -- we don't even know if Tindell was her birth name or the name of her foster family. If this story rings a bell for anyone, please let me know!
