George - I will respond. Yes, Silas James Tindol is the oldest son of John L. Tindol. The obit in the Kosciusko newspaper for "Uncle Jim" as my mother called him, spelled his name as Tindell. John L.'s wife is Sarah Adeline(Sally) Pope. I have a copy of a letter that John L. wrote to her during the Civil War. I do have William as son of Samuel and brother of John L. but don't have anything else on any of the brothers and sisters. Do you? Will you share? Thanks, Bobbie
