MANY years ago, I had posted a request for information on the Jackson line, of which James M. Jackson had married Ellen Starkey.
Someone had emailed me some fantastic pictures of a family from this line, and upon opening the email, I thought that I had gone back in time. The people looked just like a family of Indians, but wearing the clothing of the late 1800s/early 1900s.
James W. JACKSON was born 1854 in Madison Co., TN and died 1925 in Lauderdale Co., TN. He was the son of:
James M. JACKSON, who was born 1826 in TN and died 1815 in Madison Co., TN. The mother of James W. was Sarah E. TIMS who was born 1833 in TN and died 1856 in Madison Co., TN.
Ellen STARKEY was born 1850 in Madison Co., TN and died 1913 in Lauderdale Co., TN. She was the daughter of William L. STARKEY, who was born 1808 in Buncombe Co., NC and died 1873 in Madison Co., TN. The mother of Ellen was Matilda TIMS, who was born 1806 in SC and died 1879 in Madison Co., TN.
I had a computer crash, and although I had my family tree program backed up, I lost everything else. I do not remember if these were from the Jackson line or the Starkey line. IF anyone out there, has access to these pictures, would you please send them again, and I PROMISE to put them onto a disc, to ensure they are saved.
