Hi J. Fry,
I am in the Seattle area. An obituary for a 92-year-old George Timpe came through the Seattle Times on May 17, 2003. It was a one-sentence obituary:
"George Timpe. Age 92, passed away May 4, 2003. Survived by wife Evelyn; daughters Judy Golick and Patti Gerde. Family memorial."
I have been in contact with Patti and can get in touch with her if this is the right George Timpe.
Another George Timpe that I vaguely know about in the family, born in the late 1880s in the St. Louis MO area. He had a brother Henry Herman, and sister Elizabeth. This is possibly the George you're looking for.
