Hi Dave,

My ggg-grandmother, Josephine Timpe (1828-1890), occassionally traveled to Galena, IL from Lyons, IA (~ 40 miles) to visit family. I am assuming Clement Timpe (1833-1906) was her brother. Did you ever make the connection back to Hannover, Germany? I am looking for the village where they were born.

Any info would be appreciated.
