Hello Lois Peters, My notes -
From the 1851 census for Oxfordshire, Piece 1729, Folio 127, Bletchingdon:
TIMMS, George, HD, m 42, Ag Lab, OXF Bletchingdon
...Jane,WI, m 42, A, OXF Rousham. Marriage May 1831.
HORWOOD, George, SO,u 21, Ag Lab OXF Bletchingdon
TIMMS, John, SO, u 12, Ag Lab OXF Bletchingdon
...William, SO, u 16, Ag Lab, OXF Bletchingdon
...George, SO, u 11, at home, OXF Bletchingdon
...Sarah, DA, 5, at home, OXF Bletchingdon
As you can see "my" George also has two brothers and a sister, plus a step brother, George HORWOOD, who is apparently Mother Jane HORWOOD's son by a previous liason. There is also another brother, Thomas, who died in infancy. So, if the names match up with yours, do the date calculations from the ages and see if we have any connections.
I believe the eleven year old George, baptized 6 Oct 1839, grows up to become my Great Grandfather but I have yet to find documentation of his marriage to GGm Eliza BILLS, circa 1862.
Awaiting your reply,George Timms, Pennsylvania
