Sometimes I feel like banging my head against the wall when J can not find anything. Have you tried finding out when his sister Nancy died, and ordered her death certificate? They both were pretty young when their father died. But you would think the mother's name would be on the death certificate since they were living with her in 1870 and 1880. But then again, if they never told their kids about their parents, chances are they would not know about who to put down on the death certificate. Good luck, I hope someone sees this on there, and gives you just what you need.
