Thanks, Karen, for the credit. I'd also like to submit a proposal for Abraham's father that his descendants should try to confirm with documentation:
Abraham appears to have come from a son of Thomas, Sr (son of Wm and Priscilla), because his children all have names of members of that clan (see Karen's post #2031). Thomas Sr. had 6 sons:
THOMAS,JR., whose children have been identified
STEPHEN, whose children have been identified
JOSHUA, who died unmarried
GEORGE, who moved to Delaware, and the only son identified of his so far is James
LEVI, whose children have been identified
NEHEMIAH, 3 of his 5 sons have been identified
I believe that Abraham is a son of GEORGE, because Abraham came from Delaware, where George had re-located, and we don't have a list of George's sons.
