Death comes to woman at Villa Grove
Villa Grove, Il Sept. 23- (special) -Mrs. Albert Page of Momence who came last August to assist in caring for the wife of her son, Fred passed away Monday evening after a week's illness. Mrs. Page had not been well for several months but her condition became critical about a week ago.
The deceased, formerly Hannah Timmons, was born at Delphi, Ind. November 8, 1861. She married Albert Page at Fowler, Ind. Oct. 28, 1881, and lived 35 of her remaining years in or near Momence. To them eight children were born, seven of whom are living.Frank preceded her in 1922. Besides her husband and son Fred at whose home she died, she leaves four sons and two daughters, who are George Page of Hammond, Ind., Mike of Momence, Il. Alonzo and Henry of Kankakee, and Mrs. Mary Margison and Mrs. Sarah Kesler of Momence. The children and their father were at her bedside at the time if her death.
Mrs. Page came to Villa Grove last August to assist her son in caring for his wife and expected to remain the winter.She was a member fo the Baptist church in Momence for thirty-two years and Rev. H. S. Showhart, pastor of the Villa Grove Baptist church, will have charge of the short service Wed. morning at 7:20 at the Fred Page home. The remains will be taken to Momence at noon Wednesday, and interred at the Shrouty (Shronz?) cemetary.
