My Name Philip father Louis Clarence Both born at Audlem Cheshire G/f Weston Clarence GG/f Joseph GGG/f GEORGE gggg/f Thomas All my grandfathers brothers went to America at the turn of the century via Ellis Island only one returned to England his name Aurther who I met when I was A child in the 40s another of his brothers Philip settled in Cleveland Ohio And was run over and killed by a car on his 50th wedding aniversary his son Earle had a son Earle who I met several times On our visits to the States was one of the first marines ashore at omaha beach in the Normandy landings and we have a certificate of thanks sent to us & signed by President Bill Clinton on his death in 1994 his son Richard also a marine served in Nam and died 6 months after his father cause agent Orange. My Grandfather Weston had the distinction of being the longest serving magistrate in the U K and was awarded the M B E by King George the 6th he told me that due to our links with the Lords Chumley who are hereditery arms bearers to the Crown our family held the right to fly the Royal Standard on State Occasions which he always did. hope this will help you also did you know we had a Timmis car Andrew is a relly happy research can give you more info if you wish Regards Phil
