The Rent book for the Fulford Estate (see Genuki has an interesting entry in the Manor of Melhuish (1776). One of the lessees (I think, the leaseholding arrangement was quite strange) of the Taphouse at Vinney Mill was "Eliz: Upton now called Timewell".
