I think I've finally found my Timewell/Stevens (Stephens) connection. Boyd's Marriage Index gives Mary Timewell marrying Henry Stevens in Asbrittle Somerset in 1714. The familysearch site (IGI) says Mrs Mary Timewell married Henry Stevens on 31 Mar 1714 at Hackworthy.
If Hackworthy is really Hockworthy, then it's next door to Ashbrittle, and I'm prepared to accept these as the same records (the coincidence is pretty great otherwise).
I can find four probable children - Henry (father of Thomas Timewell Stephens, father of William, father of Mary Ann - my wife's ggg grandmother), John, Thamsin and Thomas - but cannot get any leads on Mary Timewell (or Henry Stevens for that matter).
Can anybody help me?

PS Thanks to Len Timewell for the Timewell info. I've put into my rapidly growing Timewell database, but still can't get any leads!
