I would like to clear up confusion about the marriage of to Epp Timberlake in Franklin Co., NC December 1807. Some researchers state that he married a Sally Jones. A 1824 Franklion Co. court notice to sibling heirs of William Truelove, Sally's father, list her as "Sally wife of Epp Timberlake" meaning that she was originally a Truelove. Other researchers have said that Sally Truelove married a Henry Jones in 1801. If so, Sally must have been a widow when she married Epp Timberlake in 1807. Does anyone know what the facts are here?
