Yes that is the Daniel I am talking about, he lived next to and was on deeds in Wilson County with Drury and Nathaninel Perry, so I am pretty certain Drury was Rebecca's father.

I am sure Joseph Martin somehow connects to the Moon's and Tilman's but haven't been able to determine how. It is possible that his mother was a Tilman or Moon and the connection to the other of those families is through his father's family. Henry Martin of Albemarle sold land to both William and Jacob Moon, so there are probably other Martin connections. I also have found Moon's on the Amherst tax lists, so the connection could be there, also.

Thank you for replying so quickly, I haven't received many replies about these families.

Also I was wrong, Thomas Tilman was on the 1801 tax list, we had just overlooked him.
