The 1850 Federal Census for Florida, Columbia COUNty, shows the family of Wayne Tillis.
Wayne was the son of Joseph and Amelia Tullis. The listing is on page 59 or 60 residence 207/family 207.Wayne is shown as having been born in Georgia, his age 34. his wife Elizabeth born in Georgia, age 30, and their sixth child, a male, was Livi W, born in Florida, age 1.
If this is the Levi who was William Reed Tillis' father, I believe you would be eligible for a Florida Pioneer Descendant Certificate.See the website of the Florida Genealogical Society.
