Hello Lisa,
I just read your entry on the Gen Forum. My grandfather was Thomas Braxton Tillis from Suwanee County, FL. He was born in 1880. His Father was a JOhn Henry Tillis. I am really interested in the Braxton name, I am curious to find the source. I named my son William Braxton in his honor. I never knew him, he died in 1929, my dad was only two weeks old so we have never known any of his family. My dad is gone now too, so I would very much like to make the connection for my children. I noticed in your message that your family was from North FLA, anything you have info on I would love to hear. Thanks.
