DNA - Parrott/Forrester/Doss/Tilley?

This is a "loooong" stretch! I'm trying to locate a "match" for my ggrandfather, James Forrester Parrett/ott, born about 1830. In reading your forum I see the name Forrester, Parrott, etc.....My ggrandfather was traveling in a wagon train through Overton Co., TN in 1832 (he was 2 yrs. old)with a woman and 5/6 children. It was discovered he had measles so she left him with a Miller family and at age 11/12 he was sold to Geo. M Thompson.

Recently my brother submitted his DNA to Family Tree, Surprise! James matches no Parrett/ott families but does match exactly with REV. John Wesley Doss - who does not match any of the Doss families either! I am soon to be 87
yrs. old and don't have a clue who I am!

I noticed a Tilley name among the dna close matches and wondered if you have seen any of my names. Thanks

Doris
