Hugh Tillery and Elvira Bethune

I have been going back over my research and checking it with census records. In my direct line, my ggggrandfather Hugh Tillery married Elvira (Akmira) Bethune. On the 1870 Saline Co., Arkansas census page 2, Elvira is listed with Hugh and 3 children I believed to belong to Hugh's other wife Minerva Jane Wilson Evans. Also listed in Nancy Bethune. I have in my files that Nancy was a child that Hugh and Elvira had. However, the census records lists Nancy Bethune as being the same age as Elvira and having a child named Nancy.

Was this a case of polygamy (highly doubtful)or was Nancy Elvira's sister and not a wife of Hugh?

Any help would be great!
