Thanks so much for the reply....
Your idea makes sence as I have never seen the family name Bunyon in my Tillery line anywhere. Bunyon as a middle name is found elsewhere. My John B Tillery had a son Charles Bunyon Tillery who had a son Vernon Bunyon Tillery.

My big problem has been to verify parents of my John Bunyon Tillery b 10 Mar 1829.
I believe his parents were William Tillery b 3/25/1789 in SC and Rebecca Huckby/Huckaby etc...
Just can't find proof.

Will try to get copy of the book "The Tillery Family In America 1650 - 2003" from my local library.
