I placed the marker at Flat Creek for Henry Peeples. DNA research reveals that the descendants of Henry Peeples match the Joseph Tiller family perfectly, and the Henry Peeples DNA haplotype does not match the direct male line of the David Peeples line. Henry's brother Lewis matches the family of Bird Owen, whose sister Wilmoth married Lewis Peeples of Kershaw's oldest son John. I believe that this strongly suggests that the mother of Henry and Lewis Peeples had two illegitimate sons by members of the Tiller and Owen families, prior to her marriage to one Morris.
