Jerre, I think we may have a connection. My G-G-G-grandfather was George Till b. 1781 in PA ,d.?, my G-G-grandfather was his son John b. 1830 in LA,d.1863 in Rome, GA. My G-grandfather was his son Richard b. 1854 in Bowie Co.,TX, d. 1940 in El Paso Co.,TX. I also have George in the Tennessee Colony, Anderson Co., TX. have you found any more data on the other family members? I haven't looked for them as I have been chasing Richards line.
