Looking for information on George THIEL / TILL b: 1781 in LA. (or PA.? .. hard to read but prob. LA) d: aft. 1860 Cen. poss. in Anderson Co., TX.. He marr. Elizabeth BECK in MS. 1809 & Mary FERGUSON 1849 prob. in LA or TX.. He supposily had 12 children. Here are the ones I know of: Henry b: 1810, Anna b: 1815 marr. Evans, *Nancy b: 1819 mar. William BUTLER in Union Parish, LA., George Jr. b: 1820, William b: 1822, ______, John b: 1830, Gorgo "Geo" b: 1833, & by 2nd. wife: Josephine b: 1852, & Lewis b: 1858.
In 1850 he is in Jackson Par. LA. In 1860 he is in Anderson Co., TX. His daughter, Nancy BUTLER, widow, & children are next door. By 1880 Nancy is in HoodCo., TX. near her youngest dau. Donie.
Where did the rest of this family end up? Does anyone have a actual death date for George? Who were his parents ?
