Hi Rob,
I would highly recommend that you up-grade to the Y-25 marker level or higher. I have found that the matches I got at the Y-12 marker level were very distant and some surprising surnames were given as matches. When I look at my Y-25 and then Y-36 marker matches the surnames are narrowed to other MacNeils and some MacInnises etc. I would actually be able to tell from my results that I was a MacNeil if I didn't know who my father was or if I was adopted etc.
In the MacNeil project we now have over 60 members and many people are starting to get matches. Many MacNeils can now be sorted. The Tighe project is at an earlier stage. You need to sit back and hope that a Tighe joins who is a match for you. You may find that you match a number of people with a different surname. Any Clarks in your list?

Cousin Vince
