Hi Padraig,

I was told that my ancestors came from Ireland I am not sure when but my dad was sure that Joe Tierney of Boston was a relation to his father some how. His father was Edward Tierney I believe His nickname is what is sticking with me...Cubb Tierney. He married Anna Howard and they settled between Little Long Rapids in Ontario and St. Joseph Quebec. I know that my father did have some aunts in Florida however I don't know if they ever married or had children. I was just wondering if Ontario of Quebec ever came up in your searches. It has been very difficult to try and find things out as so many people don't want to dig in the past.

Happy hunting, Sarah
